LilYPad POS is a custom web-based point of sale system for family entertainment centers. It makes it easy to sell products and services; schedule parties, camps and group events; and keep track of inventory, customers and employees. LilYPad also has features so that your customers can book birthday parties and group events, buy admission tickets and sign waivers all from your own website! LilYPad’s reports give you the information you need to make the decisions that will help you grow your business!
To help you get a better idea of what LilYPad can do, here are are some of the questions we hear most often:
Does LilYPad help me keep track of the customers in my facility?
- Yes! Using wristbands and a bar-code reader, LilYPad will keep track of the total number of customers in your facility. Wristbands are printed with information that quickly identifies which party a child belongs to and can also be color coded so to restrict access to specific areas. (for example: blue wristbands are for laser tag and green wristbands are for the bouncy castle and orange wristbands are for both laser tag and the bouncy castle.) You can also use the Tracker feature to keep track of and prevent overbooking in specific attractions, such as a trampoline area.
Are my customers able to book parties and events online?
- Yes! With LilYPad, you are able to offer your customers the ability to not only book parties and groups events on your website, but they can also buy and reserve admission tickets and sign waiver forms online too! This all happens in real time and will therefore appear in your system’s calendar, sales history and reporting immediately.

Do I have to sign a contract or commit to a term with LilYPad?
No, you can cancel your monthly subscription at anytime. All we ask is for you to give us 30 days notification. There are no cancellation fees so if LilYPad isn’t right for you, rest assured that you won’t be locked into a lengthy contract.
What services does LilYPad point of sale software provide?
LilYPad offers a turn key solution, meaning once your establishment opens we will have the system tailored and ready to begin regular operations. The services we will provide with this turn-key solution will include:
- Import of existing customer data (if applicable)
- Import of your business’ products, parties, pricing, party time slots, party rooms, etc.
- Ensuring that your printers, scanners, etc. are working properly with LilYPad
We will work with you to create your system to meet your needs!
Does LilYPad software provide data backups and security?
- Yes, your LilYPad system will automatically be backed up every night. All LilYPad processing is secured using 128-bit encrypted certificates. Credit card processing is seamlessly and securely handled by our integrated credit card processor partners.
Will any if my information be shared beyond LilYPad?
What hardware and equipment will I need to operate LilYPad point of sale software?
- LilYPad, being a web based system, is able to work with most hardware and equipment. If you require new hardware or equipment, we work with several supplier and can provide pricing for your review. You can also use existing hardware and equipment or purchase it on your own. There are a few recommendations that we have, so it is always a good idea to discuss things with us before ordering anything.
